The Challenge
Our client needed a controlled testing environment to evaluate toilet care products with absolute consistency. They required a facility with four identical booths, each equipped with identical toilets connected to mains water, replicating typical home conditions. This setup was essential to eliminate variables like toilet design, water flow levels and types, temperature, and surface differences – factors that could compromise results in a Home Usage Test (HUT).
The Solution
Using Sense:lab’s four identical toilets, and dedicated product testers, our client successfully conducted product tests for multiple toilet cleaners in a controlled environment. The identical water flow levels, toilet design, and seating ensured consistent application of discs, rim blocks, and liquid cleaner, enabling reliable and precise performance evaluation.
The Result
The controlled environment at Sense:lab allowed the client to gather critical consumer insights for product development and market launch.
